AVCA Convention Tampa, FL December 15-20, 2009 Beach Volleyball CAP Course

Come join USAV-CAP & the American Volleyball Coaches Association beginning with an on-site IMPACT Clinic and IMPACT Instructor Training on December 15th, followed by a USAV Beach CAP (BCAP) Level I Course on the 16th-20th, wrapping up with the 12 Week Off-Season version of the VCAP Conditioning Clinics on Sunday the 20th at 5pm-10pm.
In order to participate in the USAV Beach CAP (BCAP) course & programs offered in conjunction with the AVCA Annual Convention you must register for BOTH events. If you have NOT already registered for the AVCA Convention on their website or filled out the AVCA fax form for the Full Convention or Weekend Convention you may do so by clicking the link above.
Once registered for your CAP Beach Course Level, CAP students have the option of registering for either the FULL Convention+BCAP or the Weekend-Only Convention+BCAP format.
FULL Convention+Beach CAP allows coaches to attend any open AVCA meeting or session (including CAP sessions) beginning Wed Dec 16 through Sat evening on Dec 19. Select BEACH sessions will be required during this time. ( Beach CAP students must also attend the off-site Beach CAP-Only sessions on Sunday Dec 20 which will run from 8 am to 5pm).
This FULL Convention +BCAP registration includes all banquets, receptions, educational sessions, meetings and Volleyball Marketplace. Does NOT include Pre-convention Seminar, Golf Tournament, Texas Hold’Em Party, Under Armour® All-America Match tickets, Championship Match Party or Semi-Final/Championship match tickets! Beach Coaches may ADD-ON these items and/or ADD-ON the IMPACT or VCAP Conditioning Clinics, or if qualified may add on the IMPACT Instructor Training .
Weekend-Only Convention+Beach CAP allows coaches to attend any open CAP/AVCA meeting or session beginning Fri Dec 18 through Sat evening on Dec 19. Select BEACH sessions will be required during this time. ( Beach CAP students must also attend the off-site Beach CAP-Only sessions on Sunday Dec 20 which will run from 8 am until 5 pm).
This WEEKEND Convention registration includes the Friday night Player of the Year Banquet, the Spalding Reception and Coaches Tournament, Does NOT include party/reception/banquet tickets on other days, Pre-Convention Seminar, Golf tournament, Texas Hold’Em Party, Under Armour® All-America Match tickets, Championship Match Party or Semi-Final/Championship match tickets! Coaches may ADD-ON these items and/or ADD-ON the IMPACT or VCAP Conditioning Clinics, or if qualified may add on the IMPACT Instructor Training.
How do I join either AVCA or the USAV?
You can join the AVCA on their website (http://www.avca.org/), which gives you full member benefits for 1 year.
You can join USA Volleyball through your LOCAL USAV REGION OFFICE with full member benefits for 1 season.
If not joining USA Volleyball , you will need to add the "One Event Membership" option to your on-line order when registering for the USAV-CAP Course in Tampa, FL. This option provides you USAV Secondary Sport Accident Insurance coverage for the course dates plus covers the USAV Background Screen charges (necessary for CAP certification).

Only CURRENT USAV and/or AVCA Members are eligible for the discounted registration categories....if newly registered with either organization, FAX a copy of your membership receipt to the CAP office at 719-228-6899.
PLEASE NOTE: If registering on-line for more than one person be sure to include their name & all contact/membership info in the comments section as well.
DEADLINES FOR REGISTRATION
- Early Bird Registration pricing will apply to registrations received no later than 11/25/2009.
- Regular Registration pricing will apply to registrations received between 11/26/2009 and 12/2/2009. Please call for availability before registering.
- Late Registration pricing will apply to registrations received after 12/11/09. Please call for availability before registering.
Coaches should call the USAV-CAP office at 719-228-6800 to verify that space is still available BEFORE attempting to register after 12/11/09.
NO course registrations will be accepted on the website, by fax or by mail after 12/11/2009 at 5 pm MT! After this date, you may register ON-SITE ONLY at the USAV-CAP desk in the AVCA Convention facility (cash or credit card only on-site).
IMPACT Instructor Candidates, Renewing coaches & coaches taking the Level II after the Home Equivalency MUST first contact the USAV-CAP Office at CAP@usav.org prior to registering for this course.
