Come join USA Volleyball, the American Volleyball Coaches Association and the Bayou Region for a CAP Level I Course at Woodlake Gymnasium, Kenner, LA on July 25-26, 2009
The CAP Level I Course is open to ALL Coaches.
Schedule:
Check-in for the CAP I course will be on Saturday, July 25th at 7:30am; Sessions will begin at 8:00am and run until 8:00pm; Sessions on Sunday, July 26th will run from 8:00am until approximately 4:00pm.

CAP Level I Course Fee includes:
- 10 hours of Core CAP instruction
- 3 Elective Modules (Topics & length of each may vary)
- Textbooks/Materials: Coaching Volleyball: Building a Winning Team and Supplemental Handouts.
- Follow-up online tests
- Certificate of Accreditation upon completion of all requirements.
Accreditation for CAP Level I requires:
- Core course attendance
- Attendance at 3 Modules (included with this course fee)
- Attendance at 1 additional Module (can be pre-purchased & completed during this course weekend or at other Approved CAP Course/Module sites)
- Signed National CAP Code of Ethics (at the course)
- Passing grade on online (emailed afterward)
- One Event Membership and USAV Background Check (requires $25 additional fee for NON-USAV Members includes 2-day insurance)
- Current/Passed USAV Background Screening
- Submission of proof of having attended a “Foundations of Coaching” class (such as IMPACT or comparable course)
- Submission of a Coaching Philosophy and Favorite Drill Form
- Completion of all requirements within 12 months of course
Upon completion of all requirements, accreditation will be granted and a Certificate suitable for framing and congratulatory letter will be mailed. Accredited coaches are then eligible to attend the next level CAP course.

Deadlines for Registration:
- Early Bird Registration pricing will apply to registrations received no later than 7/13/2009.
- Regular Registration pricing will apply to registrations received between 7/14/2009 and 7/20/2009. Please call for availability after 7/21/2009 before registering.
