Come join USAV-CAP Department online for an IMPACT Clinic for the 2008 season! The online Webinars, produced in 2 Parts and presented over a two day time frame, scheduled each month, continue with the presentation of Webinar #24 on NOV 5 - 6 live from Colorado Springs, CO.
Webinar #24 - PART 1 - will begin at 7 PM Mountain Time Colorado, Wednesday NOV 5th & PART 2 - will begin at the SAME TIME on Thursday night (NOV 6th). Use this link to see your time in comparison to Colorado Springs if you have a question Each Part will last 2.5 hours.
The IMPACT Webinars are open to all coaches for IMPACT certification purposes. Attending this Webinar, and passing the follow-up online IMPACT test, will qualify coaches to coach at the Junior Club level in USAV events, plus may be used to fulfill the CAP Level I pre-requisite for a Foundations level course prior to taking a CAP I course.
Register here once, respond to emails regarding BOTH parts of the Webinar (each night's presentation has a unique link, password and access code) and then attend BOTH parts of the Webinar #24.
SCHEDULE
Once paid & registered to attend, you will receive a confirmation email from the USAV e-store (or GoToWebinar.com, or andy.pai@usav.org or diana.cole@usav.org) containing the links to add yourself to the Webinar Roster and details to access the Webinar on each night. You will also receive the PDF's to download any printed material in preparation for your Webinar. Please print out the materials WELL AHEAD of the webinar date, so you may use them to enhance your Webinar experience and printing will not interfere with your viewing of the presentation that night.
NOTE: The emails with your login information and materials attachments will be emailed on the Friday prior to Part 1 of your Webinar. If you are registering after that date, they will be sent within a day or two of receipt of your paid registration. If you have not received emails from any of these addresses with your log-in info and/or attachments by the day prior to the Webinar Part 1 date, first CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDERS as your filters may have kicked them there - be sure your email program will accept emails from these addresses; AND make sure your mailbox is empty enough to accept the emailed attachments!
EACH INDIVIDUAL ATTENDEE will need their own email address and access to their own laptop or desktop computer to take part in the Webinar!
You will need to plan to be at your computer and telephone to log/dial into the Webinar at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Roll will be taken at start time, so please be prompt.

Your IMPACT Online Clinic Fee includes:
- 2.5 hours of IMPACT Part 1 instruction
- 2.5 hours of IMPACT Part 2 instruction
- Textbooks/Materials: Downloadable copy of the 2008 IMPACT Manual, and Handouts of Slide Presentation

- Free views of archived presentation for up to 1 year.
- Following attending the Webinar presentation and passing the online IMPACT test, coaches will be emailed an IMPACT Certificate. The coach's home Region Office will be copied and the information will be entered into the National CAP database as well. Coaches should print out their IMPACT Certificate and file it in a safe place as part of their Coaching Education and certification records. WE SUGGEST YOU DOUBLECHECK WITH YOUR REGION TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE RECEIVED A COPY (and give a copy to your Club Director as well)!
IMPACT Certification requires:
- Attendance at BOTH Part 1 and Part 2 of the Webinar
- Passing grade of 90% or better on Online IMPACT Test; you will be emailed the links to access the test no later than a few days following the Webinar; you will have access to the test for 2 weeks.
Individual IMPACT Webinar Attendees need to have the following available:
- Their own unique email address to receive Webinar & Test information.
- Their own access to a Desktop PC or Laptop computer.
- Phone line to access the audio portion of the Webinar. A speakerphone or headset works best. If listening in with a small group, only one phone connection is necessary IF it is speakerphone capable.
- Note taking materials for all sessions.
PRE-APPROVED small groups. of coaches from the same club (10 attendees) may register for and attend the Webinar as a group, using only one computer and phone line login/dial in. For the small group Webinar, the host/facilitator (Club Director or Region Staff) need to have the following available:
- Desktop PC or Laptop computer.
- LCD or other projector to hook up to the computer for viewing by the group or can connect the laptop to a TV or other larger screen for easier viewing. Contact USAV-CAP for directions to connect hardware for Viewing in Small Groups.
- Phone line to access the audio portion of the Webinar. A speakerphone or VOIP connection with speakers attached to the computer works best in this group situation.
- Note taking materials and printed Manuals for all sessions.
DISCOUNTED REGISTRATION PRICING will be extended to small groups of Coaches (up to 10, including the host if attending for certification) who are members of one club or program attending the same Webinar date from the same location/log in/phone line. BEFORE REGISTERING A GROUP, please contact USAV Education Office for more details on the Small Group Webinar option and to have your Group Approved!

PLEASE NOTE:
If REGISTERING YOURSELF as an individual, each person must complete his/her own online registration.
IF REGISTERING FOR ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL, you MUST supply that person's EMAIL ADDRESS and PHONE NUMBER so they may receive the links, access codes and passwords to join the Webinar each night.
IF REGISTERING FOR the discounted SMALL GROUP Webinar, the host/facilitator (Club Director or Region Staff), if approved, will be asked to provide a Roster of Attendees to the National Office following the registration/payment process.
Small Group Hosts must verify that roster when roll is taken at the beginning of each part of the IMPACT Webinar. Only those coaches appearing on the Roster and who have been verified at the start of each part of the Webinar will receive passwords to take the online test to complete the IMPACT certification.
DEADLINES FOR REGISTRATION
EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION pricing will apply to registrations received until 11:59 PM (MST) on 11/2/08.
LATE REGISTRATION pricing (Additional $15) will apply to registrations received on or after 11/3/08.
REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE at 3:00 pm MOUNTAIN TIME on Tuesday NOV 4th!
